Commodores Log: Club date: 15 February 2010 Location: Carnaby Street London.
The Club seems to have been busy since the start on the New Year. Every weekend has had some event or meeting that I have needed to attend.
Highlight was witnessing Gerry Cartwright’s elevation to Captain of the Master Mariners Club of Southampton. A great honour for Gerry and one that our Club should be proud of.

Mrs. Clarkson obviously felt I did not make enough awful sounds with my guitar playing, so she purchased a family Christmas present, Beatles Rock Band for the WII game…. all you need is love… and earplugs when the Clarkson family get going!

Well, a GREAT Christmas Party! A jolly time was had by all. Asked the band what they were going to play first, I suggested Robbie Williams, they responded with ‘is that a Waltz?’

A quiet couple of weeks – calm before the storm?
Weather been interesting, why do we want to sail in England? Dory full of water, had a wet time bailing it out.
Had staff meeting to introduce new Flags to staff all seemed to be pleased with that.

Commodores Log: Club date: 20 November 2009 Location: Hamble
Well, it’s 4 weeks since the 2009 AGM and I have survived my first Board meeting at the Club. The huge enthusiasm from all the members present was amazing. I think we are going to have a great year!
First formal event for Jane and I was Remembrance Sunday and a reading at the church followed by the laying of a wreath - a sombre occasion with the weather playing its role.
