On way to New York for 2 weeks on biz. Jane unhappy as it clashes with wedding anniversary.

Arranged for Jane to join me in NY for weekend as a surprise.  She doesn’t know yet. Keeps the peace in Clarkson household.

Did different sort of flying with aerobatics and airfield buzzing recently. What fun!

RYA visited to explain value for service as they have increased their fees dramatically. Good meeting and exchange of views took place.

Latest board meeting finished before bar shut, hurrah!

Salty dog AKA family puppy now well salted with some exciting passages. Seems to take all in her stride.

Attended Help for Heroes night at the Club, what a great success, raised over £2000.00 on the night.

She who must be obeyed put in a surprise bid in the auction and won. Must remember to tie her hands together next time, anyway all for a good cause!

Exec seem to be happy in their work and no major probs as far as I can see…..

We have gone through the stormin’ and normin’ phases and are now in the performin’ phase!

Commodores cocktail party well attended and the speech seemed to get the right responses at the right time. All who attended seemed to have a good time.

Highlight was witnessing Gerry Cartwright’s elevation to Captain of the Master Mariners Club of Southampton. A great honour for Gerry and one that our Club should be proud of.

Mrs. Clarkson obviously felt I did not make enough awful sounds with my guitar playing, so she purchased a family Christmas present, Beatles Rock Band for the WII game…. all you need is love… and earplugs when the Clarkson family get going!

Well, a GREAT Christmas Party! A jolly time was had by all. Asked the band what they were going to play first, I suggested Robbie Williams, they responded with ‘is that a Waltz?’
